Our Clubs goal is to spread the stoke associated with surfing through promotion of community events, stewardship of the local environment and mentoring kids in a sports setting.

In 1993 the children of Camp Ronald McDonald for Goodtimes gained the benefit of this generous philosophy through a chance meeting. Wouldnt it be great to help these children play and romp on the beach?

From this initial contact evolved the "Day at the Beach" where up to 300 campers from Camp Ronald McDonald let go of all cares and join the many Malibu Boardriders volunteers for a day of pure beach fun at Leo Carrillo State Park. A day filled with tandem surfing, boogie boarding and a whole array of beach activities not usually available to children with a severe ailment.

The Malibu Boardriders Club gratefully accepts donations to assist us in helping Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times. Contributions other than money are also gladly accepted as there are many goods and services needed to produce our event. All contributions are tax deductible to the full extent that the law allows.

The Malibu Boardriders Club is dedicated to doing our best to help young children with cancer and their families. We treat the kids to a magical day at the beach by taking them surfing, kayaking and sandcastle building, as well as sharing our love of the ocean with them.Your gift makes that magic possible.

Name recognition and exposure will be provided through newspaper coverage, radio spots,TV news broadcasts, event site banners, product displays, event public address announcements, advertising, posters,T-shirts, and other merchandise, as well as in magazines. Camp Ronald McDonald for GoodTimes' newsletter carriers sponsor and contributor name recognition to over 8,700 supporters and organizations.
